Our Friday outing took us to Bihai Park near the Forbidden City. The White Pagoda Buddhist Temple is where we climbed but passed through several smaller Buddhist Prayer Temples on the way up. Notice the tree with all red ornaments...those are little prayer hangers that people purchase and place on the tree. A beautiful park with lovely landscaping, lake, huge boulders shipped from Southern China to build this Palace Gardens in the 7th or 8th centuries.
