Lane invited several people to have breakfast together to celebrate my birthday...delicious American breakfast...we had a good time. We met at Pete's Tex Mex (American Food) for 9 a.m. breakfast. It took all of us an hour to get there from all parts of Beijing on the subway. Very nice friends to all gather for my birthday. Breakfast as so good. Friends from Bountiful and Alpine Utah, Oregon, Dayton, Ohio and Melbourne, Australia - such nice people. Just 5 of us are staying here for the Holidays...the others are flying home for three weeks. The beautiful flowers were given to me by a knock on the door of my classroom. The students thought that was so romantic...Lane gave me a big hug and kiss and had everyone sing to me in Chinese and English. The students were having a fit at so much romance. They loved it...
