We left the hotel early to be at the subway to purchase our fast train
ticket to Hiroshima. We found that the round trip tickets would cost
$800.00 US dollars. We turned around and head back the hotel for a nap!
The hotel offers you a deal if you decline housekeeping during your stay,
they will give you 500 yen a day. We have earned two certificates so we
decided to eat lunch at the hotel. The lunch was very tasty. I had a
salad and small pasta dish and your Dad had a small pizza with avocado
and shrimp...that would be $30.00 and the 1,000 yen certificate paid for
two diet cokes! Today we visited the Edo-Tokyo Museum with a subway
ride costing about $10.50. Tokyo was originally named Edo and as it grew
and developed the name was changed. You will be happy to know that you
don't have many pictures to view today!

| This is for Dana - beautiful fresh flowers in the hotel lobby. |
| That's me - waiting for a
ride in the old fashioned carriage that would be held over the shoulders of men. Haven't seen any of those around Tokyo! |
| Whitt - this is for you. Looks like homemade swords - very sharp. You can probably make these. |
| The woman futon just had a
baby and would have to stay in a sitting position for seven days. The new born baby is given a bath by the midwife in the fashion shown so the umbilical would not get wet. |

| Papa is waiting for a ride in this rickshaw. |
| We ended a wonderful day at
our favorite ice cream place. The portion was about 1/2 cup and it cost $7.50 each! It was delicious ice cream.... |
| Remember the the tallest tower we visited... the Eiffel Tower in France - this was taken from our bedroom window. |
