We were told about this RED STAR Restaurant, so we just had to try it out. Wow! The stage show lasted for an hour..the Cultural Revolution to be sure. All workers were dressed in uniform, loud, loud music, cheering, dancing, depicting scenes of the revolution...the audience was going wild, waving flags, singing patriotic songs, clapping....what a interesting cultural experience. Needless to say, we were the only non-Chinese patrons. Oh, did I mention that we also had a Chinese dinner that was o.k.?
