Tainjin, China

We had another great trip over the weekend as we we visited the coaster shipping town of Tianjin on the fast train. Only took 30 minutes to go 100 miles. What fun we had with Rae and Rob Rancie. We enjoyed seeing our friends - Christine and Gary Baker that we met in Vietnam. He is the CEO of the Boeing plant (1000 employee). We stayed at the Baker's lovely home...but Gary said their was no free lunch and since he is the Branch President there, we were the Sunday speakers.  Rob is the District Councilman and visits with the Baker's often.

All six of us had a foot massage.  They served watermelon, 
cucumbers, drinks, pumpkin seeds and sweet candies. 
What a life!! This lasted for 90 minutes. They wash and bath 
 your feet first.  Six people come in at once to  work
 on our feet.  What an experience! 

The Chinese will think of many things to make money.
  We are shooting little pellet like things...maybe made out 
of Styrofoam to pop the balloons.  I actually hit 5 balloons!

This area is over 150 years old (after the concessions) and was 
settled by the countries that were trading with China
which is reflected in the building  and surrounding
 area.  German, French,  Italian, English, Japanese

There is always a city market and we enjoy our 
tour and shopping for all sorts of trinkets.
